Good morning Hammad, It was indeed delivered, but I was not there at the time. Thank you for your help. I have tried a veil and it seems reasonable to me. Initially, I thought they were very tight, but then I realized, there is a little string at the elastic location holding the two pieces that form the armhole together. Once I cut that string it felt better. Another thing I think would be a nice feature is if there was a possibility to hang the veil. For example, have a strip of fabric on top of the headpiece, that is attached on its sides only. Then, a hook or similar could hold the veil up for drying.
